In this place it was located the old “Yard of the Stones”, named for the gravel in its pavement. It is therefore a modern garden that never fails to recognize in its elements the heritage of the different cultures that have inhabited the Alcázar and its Gardens. The central pool is of Andalusí flavour, while the elegant arcade with fountain on one of its sides recalls a loggia of Renaissance architecture. The encounter of both traditions is beautiful in the original combination of elements that supposes the integration of the fountain and in one of the columns of the loggia. The name of the patio originates precisely in that set of arches, coming from the House of Levi, in the medieval Jewish quarter of the city. Climbing species such as ivy, bignonias or lantanas cover their walls to welcome the visitor who finds this intimate patio.
