Like other Mediterranean shrubs found in cities such as oleander and myrtle, the Eve price is an important ally against air pollution due to its high absorbing ability of harmful carbon dioxide. Thus, the presence of shrubs and of course trees in the urban environment plays therefore a key role in the fight against global warming, while making a clear and immediate improvement in the quality of human life, the plants function as genuine carbon sinks and filter harmful health dioxide particles. In this regard, Professor Clemente Figueroa of the University of Sevilla has proved that one Eve price offsets the carbon dioxide emitted by 77 cars in the city daily.
