This type of pandorea is a climbing plant native to Australia like jasmine referred to by its specific name, and likes sunny places and hot climates. Dense vine, of agile growth that can reach a height of over 5 meters if sustained, it is used in gardening to cover walls, pergolas or other structures, which are beautifully decorated with white flowers. In the gardens of the Real Alcázar it is also associated with date palms, growing on it and covering part of its trunk. The name Pandorea is dedicated to the woman in Greek mythology who owned the famous box that it is said to contain all the evil of man.
